The websites of crypto lending platform Compound Finance and Celer Network have been attacked, redirecting users to a malicious phishing site, according to multiple security researchers. Compound, one of the longest-established decentralized finance (DeFi) applications, holds assets worth over $2B, according to data from DeFiLlama. Celer’s cBridge allows users to send tokens between 14 blockchains, processing over $200M in volume last month. FTX EU was only approved by the Cyprus regulator in March, 2022, about seven months before FTX collapsed in November. The European arm of FTX, FTX EU has launched a website to allow European customers to submit withdraw al requests. It comes nearly five months after the global trading platform collapsed and went bankrupt in early November. The new website domain name — https://ftxeurope.eu/ — was reportedly approved by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission according to a report in Finance Magnates.
